A spacious, highly individual two bedroomed retreat with its own en suite bathroom and lounge. It can be shared by up to four persons and is always booked on a sole-use basis.
Bright and airy, the lounge has windows in three walls, two of which giving a tantalising glimpse of the sea, which is just a stroll away, and the castle, which is only half a stroll away. The furniture is all original art deco... but not prissily pristine: it's been sat in, laid on and used for all the things it was made for!
As well as plenty of lolling space, there's a table that will easily sit four, a small fridge, kettle with tea/coffee making facilities, plenty of books to thumb through and a few DVDs, should there be nothing on the telly(!).
Both of the bedrooms have double beds, with super-comfy mattresses smothered in oodles of luxurious bedding.
There is plenty of cupboard and hanging space for your clothes, plus chairs and mirrors to ensure you're sitting pretty. All windows have shutters, so sleeping into the morning will be no problem. One room can have twin beds if preferred.
The bathroom features a roll-top bath, in which you can luxuriate while gazing at the heavens through the skylight.
A stack of fluffy towels is provided, and we can offer you separate beach towels if you're going for a dip.
"... the sight of a Corbusier-style black leather chaise longue, fab deco cabinets and neat piles of old Vogues instantly make me want to stick on some Ella Fitzgerald and flop onto the battered leather sofa with a G&T."
